West End Scott Street Community Kindergarten

My son started at West End Scott St Community Kindergarten in 2020. It was his first time in an early learning environment so he did experience some mild separation anxiety. Angela and Ingrid have been fantastic in helping him to overcome this and making the morning transition a positive experience. My son has made great friends at Scott St and loves going to kindy to play, learn and explore. I love hearing all about his day - listening to him sing new songs, share new skills and teach me a thing or two 😉 Couldn't be happier with our kindy choice!

Our family just moved to Brisbane about a year ago. As we looked for school, Angela and Ingrid welcomed us warmly and my son loves every single day of being at school. He had separation anxiety on the first three days, but afterward, school is his favorite thing! He would sing around the house with the songs he learned from school, inform us with his new vocabs and showing off the artworks. School experience at Scott St is one of the best experience that my son has 🙂 and we are more than glad to make the right decision.

Our oldest daughter attended to C&K Scott Street last year and Angela and Ingrid exceeded all our expectations as a parents. Even when 2020 was such a tricky year because of Covid, they did an excellent work with the kids: staying in contact with them, and providing lots of materials and ideas to do at home. My daughter was happy to attend to kindy 99% of the days and when for some reason she wasn't, the teachers were really attentive and supportive not just with the kid, but with the parents too.

My daughter attends Scott Street Kindy and has absolutely shone during her time there. She is eager to go in the morning, happy when I collect her in the afternoon and has developed amazing friendships there that will follow onto the West End SS across the road. I especially love all the incursions and excursion experiences the children receive here and the support from the two amazing teachers, Angela and Ingrid. Great place.

We looked at a lot of places before deciding on this kindy. Our child has now been attending for two terms. We are really glad that our child is going to kindy here. They love it: it is friendly, safe, and engaging. The teachers are great. The place feels like a real community. We have already recommended this place to our friends for their children.

My older daughter goes to this kindy and she absolutely loves it. They have wonderful staff and a very unique educational program. This kindy is also managed by parental committee, which is a big plus.
